President, Sensormatic Solutions
Bjoern Petersen

Bjoern Petersen is the President of Sensormatic Solutions (Formerly Tyco Retail Solutions). Sensormatic Solutions is an award winning, global provider of the industry’s most comprehensive set of retail performance solutions. In this position, he leads the expansion of the company’s global presence and the delivery of innovative technology solutions that deliver increasing value to retailers.

He is responsible for all aspects of this technology-based business, including strategy, customer care, sales, marketing, solutions management, engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and resource management.

Bjoern brings over 20 years of experience in management consulting, IT-enabled business transformation, and execution services to major global corporations. Prior to his current role, Bjoern served as Vice President and General Manager of the Retail Industry for Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services.

Bjoern is a global leader who brings a wealth of international experience and business acumen from his various leadership positions in EMEA, Asia Pacific and the Americas. In his distinguished career with EDS and Hewlett Packard, he has led some of the most complex change management programs and client partnerships in the industry.

Bjoern has a master’s degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. He is bilingual (German and English), and lives with his son in Texas.

Vice President, Strategy & Transformation, Sensormatic Solutions
Amin Shahidi

Amin Shahidi is the Strategy and Transformation Leader for Sensormatic Solutions (Formerly Tyco Retail Solutions), reporting to the President of Sensormatic Solutions, Bjoern Petersen. Sensormatic Solutions is an award winning, global provider of the industry’s most comprehensive set of retail performance solutions.

In this position, Amin is responsible for partnering with the executive leadership and general managers to determine the business strategies and provide oversight for transformation efforts essential for successful execution. Additionally, Amin is responsible for competitive analysis, strategic portfolio planning, program and change management, and alliances and partnerships.

Amin brings over 25 years of experiencing developing and executing strategies for world-class global clients. He joined Sensormatic Solutions from Software Paradigms International where he served as Executive Vice President, Customer Services and Consulting. In that role, he was the global leader responsible for the growth, profitably and quality of all accounts and consulting services. Prior to that role, Amin served as Vice President, Consumer and Retail Industries for Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Services. There he served as General Manager for Walmart and other key HP accounts, with responsibility for revenue growth, profitability, and quality metrics, and leading the selling and delivery of strategic services. Earlier in his career, Amin held leadership positions at BearingPoint, Scient, Kurt Salmon Associates, Stanford Business Systems, and Centaur Vision.

Amin holds a Master’s of Science in Engineering, from Stanford University, California, dual Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Cum Laude, from Syracuse University, New York and “Strategy Value Creation” Executive Education from the London Business School. He is based in Rhode Island, U.S.

Vice President, Marketing, Sensormatic Solutions
Kimberly Warne

Kimberly Warne is the Vice President of Marketing for Sensormatic Solutions (Formerly Tyco Retail Solutions). In this role, Kim is responsible for advancing the company’s overall Sensormatic Solutions portfolio, including its Sensormatic, ShopperTrak and TrueVUE offerings.

She has been bringing new technology-based solutions to the evolving retail market for more than two decades, and has a successful track record of building brands that help retailers transform their operations and enhance the shopper experience.

Before joining Sensormatic Solutions, Kim spent more than 10 years in consumer goods marketing and retail operations.
She is a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College and earned her MBA at the University of Pittsburgh’s Katz School of Business.
